APPRENTICES ACT TRAINING SELECTION NOTICE NO.01/2014

Applications are invited for engagement of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1991 in General Services Organisation, Kalpakkam in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. This selection is only for Apprenticeship training on Stipendiary basis.

2. The application in the prescribed format super scribed as “STIPENDIARY APPRENTICE” should be submitted preferably type written on a foolscap paper with the following details along with a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of certificates & testimonials to reach:

Kancheepuram District.

On or before 21.04.2014. Late applications will not be considered.

3. The designated Trades and No. of trainees proposed are indicated below:

4. Candidates should submit one Application form for any one of the trades indicated above.

5. Educational Qualifications

(a)  Electrician: SSC/SSLC (10thStd.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.

(b)  Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): SSC/SSLC (10thStd.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.

(c)  Mechanic (Diesel): SSC/SSLC (10thStd.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.

(d) Programming and System Administration Assistant: H.Sc(12thStd.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Programming and System Administration Assistant or relevant Trade is essential.

(e)  Medical Lab Technician (Radiology): H.Sc (12thStd.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Medical Radiography Trade Certificate (not less than one year) conducted by recognised Institutions.

(f)  Medical Lab Technician (Pathology): H.Sc (12thStd.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Trade Certificate of not less than one year duration in Medical Laboratory from a recognised

Institutions.

Note: - In case the candidate in any of the above two trades [(e) & (f)] is not available, the Apprenticeship Training will be inducted for such trades for which candidate is available at the discretion of Competent Authority.

(g) Gardner: SSC/SSLC (10thStd.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent.

6. TRAINING PLACE: General Services Organisation, Kalpakkam/Anupuram

7) (a) AGE LIMIT:

  

   Not less than 16 years as on 01.01.2014

- Maximum age limit is 22 years for General Candidates. (for all communities)

Age Relaxation on Reserved posts:

(i) SC/ST - Relaxation upto 5 years

(ii) OBC - Relaxation upto 3 years
